Forsaken surface is a collection of lightweight fabrics with a blend of cotton, linen and a touch of wool for added textures. The collection consists of heavily detailed designs and softer designs which focus on colour and subtle textures.
What inspired the collection?
This is a collection of primary photographs that I took for my final project in third year. The inspiration comes from nature, focusing on growth and overlooked textures such as lichen, moss and weeds. I was intrigued by the colours from these primary images which led me to design my colour palette and choose specific yarns to use in my woven samples.

Visualisations
My Collection has a range of lightweight and heavier fabrics so I wanted my visualisations to represent the variety of interior purposes my collection can be used for. These included purposes such as upholstery, blinds and bed linen.
